From Meet Host Cal Elder, ICC:

Thanks for sending your kids to the Guppy meet at Inverness Country club. The address to the Club is 1 Country Club Drive Hoover Alabama 35242. There are 177 kids entered in the meet. Please use the main clubhouse parking lot once the pool parking lot is full. ICC will have a shuttle from that lot to the pool but it is only a 2-minute walk for those who want to walk. DO NOT park on the street. Cars might be towed that disregard this warning. ICC will have a parent or person keeping this area clear. We will also make announcements during the meet to move any car that is parked on the street before it is towed by the police.

Late entries will be accepted on a lane availability basis only.

Warm ups will be at 4. We will have 3 scheduled times for teams to warm up. Please see attached warm up schedule for your teams’ lanes and times. However,

4-415 ICC, BHRC,GGCC: 415-430 SBY, VSA, PTCC: 430-445 CCB,HPR,HCC,IO,JST,MBC,RCC,SCST,VCC. We will clear pool at 4:55 and have a coach meeting and call for the first event. I hope to have the first heat go off at 5:00.

Our cabana will remain open for the duration of the meet. Those clubs that have reciprocal agreements may charge back to your club and credit cards will also be accepted for those families needing it as well. No cash will be accepted. Please no outside food or beverages.

Remember, that every swimmer in every heat will receive JSSC ribbons immediately following their race. Once all heats are contested and scored, a final event result should be posted and awarded. If a child swims faster than the County standard, they will receive a special Standard Breaker Medal and the next 6 swimmers will receive the other awards listed in the meet information. These awards should be ready after the meet is completed. If not, ICC will bring any awards not picked up to the Last Chance meet at HPR the following night or to the County Meet that weekend. Stand Breaker medals not awarded for any event not having a standard, just the first 6 finishers.
